The Photography (Fun) Tour: Meeting good old friends

Hi Friends,

Hope all are doing well. Let me thank you all from the bottom of my heart for visiting my blog and sharing positive responses. Your kindness has reached a level where my lovely friends are asking for the link. As I have been telling you, just type “Vikas Kalagi Blog” in Google search bar. No extra efforts needed. Also did you all plan for a solo trip after reading this blog’s previous article? If not, plan for the heavenly experience.

Sometimes, you never know how you end up in revitalizing the good old days. It is just a group on Whatsapp, it is just the random posts of images and videos, good mornings and good nights. These are very small and routine gestures but how big it can be? Go on reading further to know about it.

Straight to the morning alarm at 4:45 am on a Sunday morning. I woke up for one more enthusiastic day with missed calls on my phone again. Got ready and went on to meet friends whom I never met after the school days & some whom I had met on the occasional events. It was a longing moment for me, the feeling which I may not be able to express in words here. The strange part of this meet is we are getting together after ages and none of us felt that. We started off with ease by pulling each other’s leg. There was a time when we sat next to each other on the benches; I felt it was the same but with change in place. By now you know that we had planned for a reunion out of the blue.

We started to Hesarghatta for a photography tour, which on a sad side was not successful with respect to photography but on a happier note, we laughed, laughed and laughed roaming around for hours to reach a destination which we never knew. The destination was later realized as our good old ‘memories’.

Starting with 2 bikes, we kick started to meet friends who were coming from the other end of the city. We met them, we thought that we can have great time together sitting inside one car and travelling rather than going in parted ways with few guys on bike and few in car.

We reached Grass land and started the photo shoots. They made us jump, fight, run, sleep for the perfect shot. We did get some on the last surviving grass lands which we have in Bangalore. You can check on the visibility over here by zooming you own natural lenses all over the open space. It’s really refreshing to stand near the lone fossil tree in the midst of land and enjoy the nature. We had great time here and also strongly recommend you to check this place before ‘The Day’s Bangalore’ conquers it.

PTSF02While the married guys talked about their married life, a bachelor friend and I stepped out of this conversation. At this point of time, my friend received a call & I heard him thanking. So out of curiosity I made a quick glance on FB and found out that it was his Birthday that day. This added to our celebration of reunion. We lifted him up for boy’s rituals and this memorable moment was captured too.

PTSF04The funny talks, serious plans were the breakfast of the day for us. Stomach filled satisfaction after seeing our old friends is indeed priceless. Though these fun-living moments appear to be small, always keep us excited and energetic, for good amount of time. I feel life is really worth living by having such real good friends.

PTSF03Times changed, things changed, I changed and so did you but the thoughts and feeling of closeness by calling yours and mine weird nick names will never change for sure.

Remembering every bite of aloo buns we shared in our good old school days. Thank you all for giving me the best days of my life.

“Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend – or a meaningful day.” – Dalai Lama
