Hampi & it’s People – The Modern conquest

Picture 2/20 – a foreign visitor celebrating his conquest after he lost breath climbing the peak of this platform.

How did I picture this:

I was constantly observing the man who was very excited after reaching the peak of this huge platform.  He did celebrate after this great conquest and started getting down. While my eye was the man when framing, I saw a lady sitting exhausted just below. Waited for the right moment. Captured!

Hampi & it’s fact:

Dasara Dibba in the royal enclosure is among the ruins of palace region.  It has steps on all sides to go up the platform which is of around 20ft in height. It’s is a large stage covering an area of about 75sq.ft. This amazing structure was built by Krishnadevaraya in memory of his conquest of Orissa and was also used to celebrate festivals. You could see lots of carvings around this platform.
